Water Your Skin!


With summer here, it’s important to remain hydrated. A recent study conducted by Harvard’s School of Public Health found that most children and teenagers don’t drink enough water. Water drives cellular functions, eliminate toxins, and keeps your body healthy. Dehydration can affect your mood, cause fatigue, and affect the function of your vital organs. Adequate water intake is also important to keep your skin hydrated and maintain a healthy skin barrier. Remember, it’s also important to replenish the water and electrolytes you lose through sweat. Hydration with water is definitely preferred over sugary drinks, whenever possible.
